OCC Pulping System Old Corrugated Container Recycling Equipment
OCC pulping production lines are specialized pulping systems applied in the paper industry to process old corrugated cardboard boxes. Through processes such as pulping, screening, and slag removal, waste cardboard boxes are processed and recycled into reusable fibers. The recycled pulp produced by this system can be applied to produce products such as corrugated paper, linerboard, coated white cardboard, and white-faced kraft paper.
OCC Pulping System Details
1. Pulping System
Core Equipment: Hydraulic pulper, rotary drum pulper.
Function: Breaks down waste paper fibers while separating large non-fibrous impurities and plastics. Rotary drum pulping is gentle and energy-efficient.
2. Cleaning System
Core Equipment: High-consistency/Low-consistency descaling device.
Function: Uses eddy currents to remove heavy impurities such as staples, pebbles, and gravel, purifying the pulp.
3. Screening System
Core Equipment: Coarse screen, fine screen, fractionating screen.
Function: Multi-stage screening ensures pulp quality; some multi-stage screens have a de-fiber function, resulting in low fiber loss and high yield.
4. Cleaner System
Function: Further removes fine impurities (high-consistency + low-consistency stages). Example production line (900t/d) includes feeding, pulping, descaling, coarse screening, grading screen, and fine screening equipment.
5. Dispersion System
Function: Heating + mechanical dispersion to treat adhesives, oils, waxes, and other hot-melt substances, dispersing them to a state invisible to the naked eye.
6. Fiber Recovery and Tailings Treatment
Fiber Recovery: Recovers lost fibers, improving pulp yield; Tailings Treatment: Dewaters and crushes separated impurities.
