Arc Screen for Pulp And Paper Mills

In the pulp and paper mills, arc screens are specifically applied for such as white water fiber recovery, pulp thickening, and waste paper de-inking and cleaning. Unlike traditional screening equipment, arc screens have no rotating or vibrating parts and require virtually no mechanical drive; they are cost-effective units characterized by simple construction and reliable operation.
Arc Screen Function
White water fiber recovery: Recovers fine fibers and fillers from white water, enabling fiber reuse and filtrate recycling, thereby reducing raw material consumption and the load on wastewater treatment.
Pulp thickening: Connects to the accepts outlet of pressure screens to increase pulp consistency, providing pulp that meets specifications for subsequent bleaching, storage, or papermaking.
Long/short fiber fractionation and filler separation: Classifies fibers by length and separates fillers (which pass through the screen) from fibers (which are retained), optimizing pulp composition and paper formation uniformity.
Deinked pulp cleaning: Used for cleaning deinked pulp by removing ink particles and stickies, thereby improving the cleanliness and brightness of the recycled pulp.
