Heavy-Duty Chain Conveyor for Pulp And Paper Mills

The chain conveyor is a fundamental piece of material-handling equipment in the pulp and paper mills, responsible for the critical task of continuously feeding raw materials—such as pulp sheets and waste paper—from the storage yard into the pulper.
Chain Conveyor Key Features
High-capacity heavy-duty conveying: Metal chain plates support the load, accommodating heavy, bulky, or abrasive materials such as pulp bales, waste paper bales, and wood chips.
Steep-angle elevation: Handles pulp and waste paper bales at angles up to 22°, loose waste paper up to 30°, and wood chips up to 45°, allowing for direct connection to the pulper feed inlet.
Wear-resistant and durable: Separates the traction and load-bearing functions; rolling friction reduces resistance by over 55%; features heavy-duty alloy chains and stamped, formed trough plates.
Anti-rollback and anti-drift design: Equipped with braking/anti-reverse devices and trough plates with bilateral anti-drift features to prevent rollback or misalignment during shutdowns on inclined sections.
Uniform feeding: Optional paper-leveling rollers can be installed to regulate material flow and stabilize the pulper’s operating load.
Low noise and easy maintenance: Operates smoothly at low speeds with minimal noise; features a modular structure with high interchangeability for convenient maintenance.
