How To Determine Equipment Power During Pulping

During pulp making, the power of some pulping equipment is high, while some equipment is low. What’s the reason for this phenomenon? And how is device power be determined?

Reason

When specifically determining the application working conditions of equipment, the resistance and friction force that rotor (cutter, impeller) has to overcome is smaller and more accurate, more specific under different working conditions. This is why the same equipment has different working conditions, different working positions, and different motors.

<1> As coarse screen, the inlet pulp consistency is 3-4%, with the largest resistance and friction force, also equipped with the largest motor, generally 90KW.

<2> As grading screen, the inlet pulp consistency is 3-4%, with the median resistance and friction force, equipped with middle motor, generally 75KW.

<3> AS fine screen, the inlet pulp consistency is 1.0-1.5%, with the smallest resistance and friction force, also equipped with smallest motor, generally 55KW.
