Paper Machine Headbox Preparation
Headbox is the key point in paper machine, it directly related to paper quality. Before operating paper machine headbox, there are some preparation to pay attention.
1. Paper machine headbox parameters need to be set well, including: headbox lip horizontal opening, vertical opening, pulp-wire speed ratio, intake valve opening, overflow valve opening, return flow, dilution water back, valve opening should’t be too large; Total head, J/W, liquid level control need to hit the automatic state.
2. Wire section has reached the operating speed and the vacuum system is turned on. Dilution water pressure is balanced at both ends.
