Low Density Cleaner For Pulp Mills

In waste paper pulping and stock approach flow systems, impurity removal is a critical step that determines the surface cleanliness and printability of the finished paper. Low density cleaners serve to further remove residual fine heavy impurities—and some light impurities—from the stock after it has undergone coarse and fine screening and has been diluted to a consistency of 0.3%–1.5%.

Low Density Cleaner Structural Composition And Key Components

The low density cleaner is designed for precision separation, wear resistance, longevity, and ease of maintenance (including clog prevention); it primarily consists of a conical body, a pulp inlet, and a reject discharge/back-flushing system.

Conical Body: The upper section performs centrifugal separation, while the lower section collects coarse rejects for further separation; it features a ceramic lining for extended wear life and a split design for easy assembly and disassembly.

Pulp Inlet: Features a rectangular tangential design that allows the incoming pulp to rapidly form a stable vortex, ensuring effective separation even at low pressures.

Reject Discharge and Back-flushing System: The bottom of the lower cone is equipped with a reject discharge pipe and a back-flush water pipe, with the back-flush water serving to wash and recover fibers; the valves are positioned below the white water tank’s liquid level to prevent air entrainment.

Our low density cleaners offer lower fiber loss, longer cone life, and more stable operational performance, please feel free to contact us.
