Reject Separator For Waste Paper Pulp Lines

A reject separator is a piece of equipment specifically designed to process pulp rejects within the waste-paper pulping workflow. Its function is to recover usable fibers that may be trapped in the high-impurity pulp rejects—discharged by equipment such as fiber separators or pressure screens—while simultaneously removing the actual impurities from the system.
Reject Separator Workflow
Pulp Separation: As the pulp enters the machine, centrifugal force drives fibers through the screen plate to become accept pulp, while impurities are retained.
Blade Defibering: Rotor blades push impurities toward the reject outlet, while simultaneously breaking up fiber clumps to recover fibers.
Washing and Rinsing: Continuous water spraying washes fibers off the impurities and prevents the screen plate from becoming clogged.
Reject Discharge: Impurities with low fiber content are discharged through the reject outlet.
